We visited Mary's cafe on a group nightout and found It to be a pleasant experience. The food was prepared to a high standard and very tasty. We had a platter of mixed dishes consisting of Red Kulwa, White Kulwa and shekla ( all meat stew dishes ). Topped with sallad. As a person who has visited many Eritrean/Ethiopian Restaurants across the country as well as Europe I was very satisfied with the quality and size of the food. Staff were attentive and friendly and It was nice to see the restaurant was decorated to reflect Eritrean & Ethiopian heritage. I highly recommend Mary's for any occasion.

Delicious food and great atmosphere! The food was fresh, and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend this place if you want to try Habesha food
Food is 10/10! Amazing service and decoration! Will definitely come back. Large portions and very worthy!
We went last night for a group dinner (8 people) and had an amazing time! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, and the people were so kind and welcoming. Definitely would go back!
Nice service, delicious food, and traditional drink.
I absolutely love this place! The staff cannot do enough to welcome and accommodate you! I’m vegetarian so the choice is limited but each time I visit the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. There are traditional drinks that I really like sampling. Definitely one of my go-to places and great to have it in Harpurhey. It’s like stepping into another country when you open their door on Rochdale Road, which I love! Always lovely music playing and the customers are so chilled, even when it’s busy. I took my friend from Zimbabwe last time and he loved it, too! Highly recommended!
